Muppet Godzilla Invades Buffalo

This mural was painted in Buffalo NY, in Hertel Alley in concert with the Hertel Alley Mural Festival hosted in concert with Art Services Inc and Joel Feroletto. Spanning 17’ x 24’ this was my first and largest mural that I have designed to date. My first, and largest solo mural of 2025, I used VR goggles to project my sketch onto the wall and then a combination of exterior acrylic and spray paint to bring the painting to life. Most of the mural was painted over a 3-day span during the festival with a few extra weekend sessions to finish the piece. A special thank you goes out to all of the family and friends that stopped by to paint, bring food or just cheer us on - I’m truly grateful to each of you for your help.

Flight of the Hippogriff

Lead Artist: Joe Rice

This was a mural that came into being because I would frequent a local coffee shop called the Labyrinth and just off to the side in Potter’s Alley stood a 9’ wall used as a divider between a parking lot and the alleyway. This blank wall is positioned right outside my apartment, and it had been taunting me to paint it since I moved in. Every week on Thursday evenings, the Lab hosts a Craft n Sip night where I post a prompt and anyone can come and draw to take advantage of drink specials. The design for this mural was inspired by one of those drawings from Craft n Sip. I started working on the mural in Early August and finished in September. The mural has been involved in multiple promotions for the Labyrinth  where the community was encouraged to take photos in front of the mural over Halloween and submit photos to take part in specials. The mural is also featured on a gift card.

Paint CHQ Sherman

Lead Artists: Justin Suarrez and Emily Ding

In early September I participated in the Paint CHQ Mural program which helped bring Artists from all over the Nation to paint murals across Chautauqua County. Justin and Emily designed a mural that wrapped around multiple surfaces of a building at the main intersection in Sherman featuring local flora, fauna and landscape elements to draw attention to the area’s natural beauty.  I was an assistant artist on this project working closely alongside Justin. The finished mural in the town center has completely transformed the town center of Sherman NY.

Paint CHQ Falconer

Lead Artists Mandi Caskey AKA Miss Birdy

In September, Miss Birdy came to Falconer NY to paint the side of a bowling Alley located between the main intersection of Falconer and the public school. Mandy’s mural depicts a falcon carry’s the town’s aspirations on its back to new heights, it also has a section that harkens back to Falconer’s founding featuring a historical rendering of Falconer’s first Furniture and Sawmill. Mandi asked me and my friend and fellow artist Melissa Meyer to paint the historical rendering while she focused on the Falcon. It was an honor to be trusted to help realize the town’s and Mandi’s vision of historic Falconer. We even tied in some hidden Easter eggs referencing a moment in Falconer’s past nearly 100 years ago when a travellining Circus visited and their elephants escaped their enclosures and made their way down Main St.

Paint CHQ Westfield

Lead Artists: Drift Mural Co.

During September, Dominic and Anais of Drift Mural installed a mural in Westfield right near the main Intersection highly visibile if you are coming into town from Route 5 or Barcelona. The colorful mural is dedicated to the rich agricultural and wine making region that surrounds this section of Lake Erie. I helped Dominic paint a small section of grape leaves on this beautiful mural and I’m forever grateful for the opportunity to learn from the accomplished Duo.

Mural at Private Residence

Lead Artist: Sarah Brown Millspaw

In October, my close friend Sarah was hired to paint an exterior mural on a private residence in the Chautauqua Institution. The mural was designed to highlight the house’s entryway with brightly colored geometric patterns by Sarah. She asked me to help her complete some of the painting work on the second story as the terrain was difficult to anchor a ladder without help. Sarah is a close friend, so when she asked for my help, of course I jumped at the opportunity to assist.
